Jolina Magdangal was first known as a member of the group 14-K.  A group of young singers which was the brainchild of Mr. Ryan Cayabyab.  This is where her singing, dancing and acting skills were honed.  When the group had its last performance at Ryan, Ryan Musikahan, she was spotted by Johnny Manahan and was asked to be guest in the sitcom Mana which turned out to be her screen test.  After her brief stint in the sitcom, she was seen with potential and was asked to join Ang TV where she was featured in different segments: musical, sitcom, newscasting and in the famous portion Payong Kaibigan.

This was where Jolina became famous.   This was also the time when she appeared in her first multi-media commercial of a shampoo production.  And was followed by more commercials and product endorsements.   To date, Jolina has appeared in more than 35 TV and print ads.

From Ang TV, she became a regular cast member of the now-defunct Abangan Ang Susunod Na Kabanata of ABS-CBN.  She also appeared in 'Sang Linggo nAPO Sila, Onli In Da Pilipins, ASAP, Richard Loves Lucy and she was twice featured in Star Drama Presents and has guested in numerous TV programs where her flair for comedy, drama and musiic became more pronounced and acknowledged.

From TV, she entered the world of movies.  Her first movie, Hataw Na! was a big hit and it was followed with Ama, Ina, Anak, Radio Romance and a series of hit movies.

Jolina has her own TV soap entitled Labs Ko Si Babe currently on air Mondays  to Fridays at 7:30pm, ABS-CBN.  And the show is riding high on the top of the rating chart. And of course, she is also a regular of ASAP where she demonstrates her singing and dancing talents as well as her hosting ability.
